In celebration of Virginia Archives Month, join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm for a virtual panel discussion about archiving underrepresented Virginia history.

The panel includes Nix Mendy, digital archivist for OUTWORDS (The Outwords Archive, Inc.); Katie Stueckle with the Southwest Virginia LGBTQ History Project; Clint Whitten, Ph.D., associate director for the Center for Rural Education at Virginia Tech; and Lydia Neuroth, manager of the Library’s Virginia Untold: The African American Narrative project.
